I like to join Merchant navy I have completed my bsc with pcm I get 75% in bsc and in 12 I get 77% with pcm stream what is process for joining merchant navy ?

Process to join Merchant Navy after BSc PCM:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

The candidate should have passed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or marine engineering or a degree of Bsc in nautical science in order to join in the navigation or marine engineering branch of Merchant Navy.

The candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% in graduation degree without any backlogs.

The candidate age should not be more than 25 years.

The candidate should not suffer from colour blindness and should have a eyesight 6/6.

The physical of requirement for join Merchant Navy are:-

Height - 167cms
Weight - 50 kg
Chest - 77 cms ( without expansion) and 82 cms (with expansion).

The selection procedure involves of:-

Written exam
Physical test
Medical test
Personality interview.

Process to join Merchant Navy after BSc PCM:-

Process to join Merchant Navy after BSc PCM:-

After completing your Bsc in PCM you can join Merchant Navy through DNS ( Diploma in Nautical Science) by clearing IMU CET.

Eligibility : You must have atleast 50% marks in the final year without any backlogs. The candidate age should not be more than 25 years. The candidate should not suffer from color blindness and should have a eyesight of 6/6.
