Re: Pure science student can do B.Sc in Agriculture or only Biology student are eligible?
In order to be eligible to join B.Sc Agriculture course, the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates is by completion of 12th class with 50% of marks.
It is necessary that the candidate should have gone through Science subjects like Botany and Zoology. It is not mandatory that the candidate should also have Mathematics subject along with Science subjects. So, as per your query, Bio-Maths candidates in 10+2 are also eligible to join this course. As per the admission procedure, different universities are offering this course and they would conduct their own Entrance Exams to give admission for this course. The duration of this course is 4 years. After completion of this course, you can opt for M.Sc in Agriculture with the duration of 2 years with any of the below specializations -Soil Science -Soil Conservation -Sericulture -Horticulture etc. Gain good subject knowledge during your B.Sc Agriculture which would be very useful for you after joining in job. |
