One willing to become a physiotherapist has to opt for Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). Admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) in most of the institutes is based on Common Entrance Test (CET). BPT is a three to four year duration course .

Eligibility criteria for BPT admission :-

- The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% marks from a recognized board .

- The candidate must have attained an age of 17 years at the time of admission .

No, being a Humanities student you are not eligible to pursue your career in medical field. You are not eligible to become physiotherapist as you have completed your 10 + 2 with Humanities stream. To become a physiotherapist a candidate must have completed 10 + 2 with medical stream.

Eligibility to become physiotherapist:

Aspirants must have completed 10 + 2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry from a recognised board.

Minimum age should not be less than 17 years.

As you have completed your 10 + 2 with Humanities so you are not eligible to become physiotherapist in your life.

Hello,

Physiotherapy is the medical stream course that could be takem after 10+2 with biology as one of the subjects. Humanity course will not matter to get admission into physiotherapy. Based upon 12th std result and also you can give entrance exam for medical students to get admission into physiotherapy field. So, if you are a biology student you can become a physiotherapist.
