what are the qualifications requires to become a NASA astronaut????

NASA astronauts are brilliant and they of the level or research scientists. So if you really want to get into NASA, start gearing yourself up.

Firstly you have to become an engineer in fields like :

Electronics
Civil
Electrical
IT
Computers
Aeronautics
Space technology
etc

Now you have to do your master's from a very reputated University like the IITs or better world standard universities

After you have done good research, you can apply and check with the NASA authorities. Still, it would even benefit you, if you do your research and Ph. Doctrate in space technology, or rocket science, satellite communication etc.

So after that you have a good chance.

HOW MUCH PERCENT BE HAVE IN 12TH CLASS

To become an astronomer in NASA Educational Qualification:

As you have done BE in electrical and electronics engineering you can make a career in Instrumentation/ Experimental Astronomy as eligibility for the same is :-

After 10+2 you have to go for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical / Electronics/ Electrical Communications. An engineer with a B. Tech or BE degree could also enter the field as a research scholar.

Entrance exam :-
For doing Ph.D, which is mandatory to do research, you should have to appear for the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) examination.

Special skill need to become an Astronaut :-

1) curiosity, enthusiasm and greater concentration

2) Brain should be above average intelligence, high imagination, persistence, problem-solving and analytical skills

3) Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Colleges provide Ph.D program :-

1) Harish Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad

2) Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad

3) Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore

4) Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences( ARIES),

As to be eligible to apply to NASA as an astronaut, a candidate needs to have high level of education qualification. One of the main priorities is the technical education. If the candidates are selected then there will be additional training also. In addition to this the candidate will have to wait for many years before even being chosen to go for an actual mission under the NASA. There is some basic requirements one need to have before applying to NASA. The selection procedure of NASA is very tough. The candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant science, which in your case can be B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. It can also be a degree in biology, math or some other physical science. But it will be ate your advantage if you have a Master’s or even a Doctorate. It looks like you prefer to carry on being a pilot. For this you will have to undergo at least 1000 hours in pilot training. You must also have a vision of 20/20 and pass the physical fitness exam.

Is there any entrance exam to get into nasa after doing 12th

NASA takes specialists from different disciplines like in


• Mathematics
• Engineering
• Computer science
• Biological science
• physical science

Candidate needs to be Specialise at master's level and

then do a PHD followed by at least three years of related Work Experience.

NASA also has a career intern programme to recruit and attract exceptional individuals in to a variety of entry level occupations

participants in the this 2 years programme gain valuable on the job experience as well as formal classroom training.

The class 12th result doesn't matter much in the Aerospace college , but it'll help you take amission in a well repute college.
So, aim high and go for atleast for 95%.
I know it's high, but you need to set high goals for high achievements.

Necessary Eligibility conditions that you will have to meet to get jobs in NASA is as follows :-

Educational qualification :-

• You should have a bachelor engineering degree from recognized university/college approved from Technical Education Board.
• In your Engineering course you must have studied one of these subjects as a compulsory paper :- Physical Science/Life Science/Mathematics.

Note :-

• You should also have a working experience related to your field and educational qualification of at least 3 years in recognized Organizations.
• You must have obtain VISA from Country in which NASA organization resides.

Age Required :-

• To get jobs in NASA your minimum age should be 21 years.
• Candidates who will apply for jobs in NASA should have age above 35 years.
  

Important :-

• Your course must include at least 6 semesters hours of course work in a combination of Mathematics,Statistics and Computer Science in depth Knowledge.
• Your course should have theoretical foundations and practical applications of computer science.
• You must have studied Mathematical and Statistical techniques for at least 30 hours during your course period.
