Istqb Foundation level Certification is good for software tester.It include 40 questions. Exam is online. All question carry one mark. Qualifying mark is 26.
I think "FOUNDATIONS OF SOFTWARE TESTING, ISTQB CERTIFICATION
By Dorothy Graham, Erik van Veenendaal, Isabel Evans, Rex Black" is a good book for it.
You can collect dump question from internet.
