ISTQB is the acronym for International Software Testing qualification board. This examination is meant for those aspiring to become successful software testers. The question paper contains 40 multiple choice questions and each question has four options. The duration of the examination is one hour. A candidate is required to score a minimum of 60% to secure a pass. There are no descriptive type questions. Wide knowledge in programming and other fields of computer is required to clear the exam. Questions for the examination are often taken from previous ISTQB question papers. 50% of the questions are from K1 level, 30% from K2 and 20% from K3.
