frnds, can u tell at what approx. Rank in obc category in uptu can i get computer science or IT branch at hbti.

not approx but near about 150 rank.......because,..hbti only admits students having domicile....if u are having domicile then u can get admission with 1000 rank also........

It is not easy to say about rank but seats are fill up by counselling and all colleges remaining seats are displayed on the electronic board at the time of councelling
so it is a tuff task to say abot rank before councelling

last year the general (overall) rank required by OBC studenst to get admssion in CS in HBti was 748 - 1343 and for IT it was 1232 - 1535 . Again its general rank required but OBC While for general students it was under 600 and 1000

I am afraid that there arent many options for you since there are only 9 biotech colleges in uptu but in recounselling you may get S.D. college of engineering through your quota but it wil be hard.

I am sorry I dont think that you can get any branch of Harcourt Butler Technological Institute

But some other options are -

1) Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology(043) ,Jhansi - Civil Engineering , Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering

2)Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology(104) ,Sultanpur - Civil Engineering , Computer Science & Engg, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology,

Or you can get any branch in Govt. Central Textile Institute ,Kanpur and Central Institute Of Plastic Enginerring & Technology,Lucknow if you are interested in these branches

my gen rank in uptu is 93768 and rank in obc is 27706 which collage i can get for mechanical engg in gaziabad and greater noida

I am afraid that you have no good options but you can get colleges like Raj Kumar Goel Engineering College and Sunderdeep Engineering College but I wont call these good colleges

you can get any branch in Govt. if u want to try in pvt thn in jss u can go and if u r not getting ur choice branch u take any branch dere ...
u wl hav option to change in interior cllg counselling

each year cutoff rank changes


but to be on safer side u shd hav a rank of within 900 fr cse


and 1200 below fr it

Hello Everyone,
I%u2019m a bit confused with the procedure of the counselling.
For which counselling should I report at the center for taking allotment according to my OBC rank?
It is given in UPTU website that during the Special Counselling For SC, ST & OBC, they%u2019ll be participating in the counselling according to their general rankings.
If I attend the counselling for All categories, then also I'll be allotted seat according to my general rank and same in the Special Counselling for reserved categories.
