Hello Friend,

The eligibilty criteria for becoming an RTO or Regional Transport Officer is given below:

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have a graduate degree from a reconized University having more than 50% marks.

3. Your age should be between 21- 30 years if you belong to the General category.

4. If you belong to OBC category then your age should be between 21- to 33 years.

5. If you belong to the SC/ST category then your age should be between 21-35 years at max.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

For Judicial Service:

the candidate complete the degree in law.

The age limit should be between 23 to 34 years.

For Clerkship Post:

the candidate should be complete the 10+2 from any recognized school.

The age limit should be between 18 to 37 years.

For sub assistant Engineer:

A degree in engineering like in civils, mechanical or electricals.

Age limit: Maximum 32 years.

The candidate should have completed the 12th standard with 60% from recognized state board of india.

Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Exam is conducted by different state Public Service Commission. So the required educational criteria is varied for different states but the other eligibility criteria generally same.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality-
You must be Indian.

Educational Qualification-
(i)to apply RTO, You must have a pass in 10th/matriculation with 50% marks,

(ii)again for some states you must be Graduate in any stream with 50% marks,

(iii)again 12th pass with 50% marks is the minimum qualification for some other states.

(iv)Educational Requirement for the Post of Judicial Service:degree in law

(v)Educational Requirement for the Post of Clerk:12th exam

(vi)Educational Requirement for the Post of Sub Assistant Engineeriploma in Engineering

Age-
21 Years to 30 Years for General/3 Years of relaxation for OBC candidates/and 5 Years of relaxation for SC / ST candidates.

Become a RTO Officer :

Now you are searching for eligibility criteria for become a RTO officer, then you don't worry if you interested to become a RTO officer required educational qualifications are you must completed the any GRADUATION from recognized university and here not required required any PERCENTAGE in graduate, but you should be secured the 10+2 percentage will be 60 % and also required age limit should be 21-30 years for general category candidates and 21-33 years for OBC candidates and 21-35 years for SC/ST category candidates.

So, if you are qualifying the above mention qualifications, then you can apply for RTO Exam and this is conducted by the state govt of india every year once and the selection processor for become a RTO officer is based on the written test only and this containing the 2 papers like general studies papers I & II. And after qualifying the written exam called for certificate verification and then requiting.

The RTO Examination can be given for the following posts:

Clerkship Post
Sub Assistant Engineer Post
Judicial Service Post

Generally the public service commission of each state conducts this exam due to which the number of vacancies usually varies from one state to the other. Therefore it is better to search for the state where you want to give this exam.

The eligibility criteria for all the posts is not the same.

For clerkship post you should have a higher secondary certificate or its equivalent as otherwise you will not be eligible. The age should be between 18 and 37 years.

For judicial service post you should have a degree in law from a recognized university or institution and your age should be between 23 and 34 years.

For sub assistant engineer post you should have an engineering degree in civil, mechanical or electrical and your age should not cross 32 years.

It is tough to give you the exact syllabus pattern as it generally varies from one state to another. But here i am trying to share with you the RTO Exam syllabus of Madhya Pradesh. For this exam total 100 questions comes and total marks alloted is also 100.

40 questions of 40 marks comes from general knowledge, 20 questions of 20 marks from general hindi and 40 questions of 40 marks from mathematics.
