Minimum Eligibility For IAS
Graduation from recognized university Basic fitness level. Age limit - 21 to 30 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC) There is no requirement of minimum marks in Graduation and in 10th and 12th class. You should have cleared all level of Examination (Graduation ,10th ,12th class) from recognized board /university or You should have scored at least minimum passing marks in all level of examination (Graduation ,10th ,12th class). There are 3 stages in IAS . Preliminary exam (Objective Type Exam) Main exam (Descriptive Type Exam) Personal Interview If you fulfill all the basic requirement set by UPSC for IAS than first you will appear for first stage that preliminary stage and if you clear the preliminary level you will be able to fulfill the second level that is main level of IAS examination. Graduation from recognized university

There is no any specific marks criteria are specified for the the examination. If you have passed class 12th examination and Graduation and if your age is between 21 years to 30 years then you can sit in the examination. The IAS examination conducted by the UPSC every year. IAS INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE IAS exam is conducted by UPSC in every year. Eligibility criteria for IAS exam is.. ::Eduacational Qualification:: Graduation with 50% in any stream from a recognize university or college. Final Year student can apply ::Age limits:: For General : Should Between 21 to 30 years For OBC : Should Between 21 to 33 years For SC/ST : Should Between 21 to 35 years For Physically challenged: Should Between 21 to 40 years 3. No. of attempt 4times OBC 7times abs ST/SC no limit. |

The Civil services Examination is conducted every year for the selection of candidates as IAS Officers. This exam is most commonly known as the IAS Exam. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the prestigious Civil Services Examination. The Qualifications Required for Civil Services examination are : # Educational Qualification : Graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university. * Final Year Candidates can also apply for the exam. # Age Criteria : # Nationality : you must be a citizen of India. From the above mentioned , you can see that there is no where mentioned that there is any specific marks in required for either 12th or graduation. Only Pass in graduation from any university recognized by UGC is required. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query.
