After completion of 12th you want to join in NAVY..

Then you have to crack NDA exam.. Which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Navy Academy:-

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in science field with 60% aggregate.

2.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

3.Candidate must be physically fit.

4.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, if you have done 12th standard in science field then you can apply for NAVY.

HI,
If you want to join Indian Navy you have to pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
For joining Indian Navy you have to qualify the COMBINE DEFENCE SERVICES EXAM.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
It is conducted in month of April and August.

Eligibility Criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview

After b.tech you need to give cds exam,after that you will be having interview medical then finally you need to pass the passing parade

Indian Navy is the Naval wing of the Indian Defense system. To join the Indian Navy, you need to sit for the NDA exam which is conducted twice by the UPSC every year in April and August.

NDA I is the exam for the undergraduates, and NDA II is the exam for those who have completed their graduation.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's for appearing in the NDA are :

1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board of India with a minimum 50% aggregate in it.

2. If you wish to apply for the Indian Navy or IAF, then you must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects in your 10+2.

3. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying.

4. You should be physically fit.


So as you ask, if you may join Indian Navy just after 12th, yes you can. You just need to meet the above eligibility criteria's to do so.


-> First you have to sit for the exam. If you crack it, then you would be called for a round of Physical/Medial tests and then a personal interview.

-> If you clear both, then you would be selected and sent to IMA for a training period of 1 year.

-> After that you would be employed in either of the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force depending on where they think you are needed the most.


The Important Dates for the NDA I are :

1. Date of Notification : Last week of December 2011.

2. Last date to apply would be 31-01-2012.

3. Date of the exam : 15th April 2012 (Sunday).

NDA stands for - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY..

You wants to serve the nation , which is really appreciable ,
Through this examination, one can apply in all the combatant branches of the India.
i.e. in NAVAL,
AIR FORCE
MILITARY BRANCH.

The NDA examination, conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC] every years for twice in a year.

1. For appear in the NDA examination, you must have at least a 12th degree from a recognized board.
But a candidate with out maths, can apply for only military branch of the Indian army.

2. For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , he must needs the subjects Maths & Physics with at least 60% in 12th [aggregate].

3. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,..
remarks that, there is not any kind of age limit relaxations criteria is applicable for the any reserved category.

4.you must have Indian nationality.

5. you must posses marital status unmarried.

I am Rafeek from karnataka.
