Schorarship for PhD in physics in Germany?
Hello,
I am Deb. I am an Msc Physics final year student. I want to get a chance for PhD in German or Europe cuntries in Nuclear Physics in 2010. I have not TOEFL and GRE scores. But I have a project experience in experimental nuclear spectroscopy at VECC, kolkata, India. Please say me how can I get full Schoarship and go to German for study. I think my english is well enough. And I can provide proof from my P.G. level english teacher. I studied BSc, MSc in english. Sencerely Deb |

Germany is a free education country and get admission in German universities is a big task. You need not pay any thing to them. You have to definitely take English Proficiency Tests like TOEFL/IELTS etc. You should have good academics without any backlogs and strong projects in your hand. You should apply to the universities as much earlier as possible because, admissions are decided are on the first come first serve process only if you have all the prerequisites that you are looking for. Apart from these attributes, your SOP should be strong enough and you should take at least 3 months of time for writing the SOP. All the Best! |

hi, i varun chaudhary, M.Sc. in physics by CCS University Meerut India, M.Tech. in Materials Science by IIT Kanpur India, want to do my PhD with a good research group at Germany or Europe. In my M.Tech., I have present a paper in international conference 2011 MRS Spring Meeting at San Francisco, USA and now this paper is accepted for publication also.

and i am a srilankan refugee residing at india.i dont like to study further but i wish to settle at germany with job. how it is possible,give me some useful information. |

I am going to finished my M.Phil physics in 2011 october. I want to do my Ph.d in Europe. But i have not given any TOEFL or GRE examination. i am interested in plasma physics.I did my m.phil project work also in Plasma torch.. Is there any chance of getting ph.d programme related to plasma physics in Europe. I think my english is well enough to study in abroad.

i hold a bachelors degree in information technology(b tech IT 2010).i wanted to work in experimental quantum computation, so currently working at iisc, bangalore in project of center for quantum info n quant computation.europe is best for me, esp vienna, innsbruck, garching, erlangen, geneva etc. But i do not know da chances of getting admission for studnts switching fields like me.europe seems little rigid however US is flexible.my gre score wil cum on 8th nov.can anybody tell me what shud i b questnd on in telephonic interviews in european univs?

there is a PhD Fellowship Program at International Max Planck Research School(IMPRS)in Particle Physics in Germany. The scholarship will be provided by International Max Planck Research School(IMPRS) at Germany. Minimum Eligibility: 1:you should have a Diploma Degree or a M.Sc Degree in Physics with a very good or satisfactory marks. 2:you should have a written Diploma Thesis or M.Sc Thesis documentation of at least six months of research. 3:You must have a very good English language as well as communication Skill. |
