why we are choosing pharmacy there is no future/scope. What are the job opportunities after Pharmacy course?

there are following scopes after doing pharmacy
1. MR
2. Start drug store-medical,wholesale
3. Research & drug trials
4. M Pharm & PhD in Pharmac
5. Join as an advisor to a pharma company
6. MBA
but you are Not allowed to practice like doctor

so choose wisely according to your interest

YES it is good course with good jobs as the pharma guys are in good demand...

u wil hav to choose a good college which has the best palcements!!!

JOBS:

u wil get a junior pharmacist job in a medicare company or u can start ur own pharma shop!!

D-Pharmacy

D-Pharmacy is 2 years course duration
=>pharmacist in hospitals
=>Lab assistants in labs of D-Pharmacy college
=>several jobs in drug companies
=>medical representatives.

after completion of D-Pharmacy you can enter into B-Pharmacy second year through the entrance test of ECET

B-Pharmacy

there are several jobs B-Pharma degree holders.

1.Faculty side

2.Drug Inspector

3.Quality analysist etc.

it is a good line you can get good job after pharmacy or you can open
your own medicine factory , you can get job in govt medical as well as
corporative medicals ..

i'm studying m.pharmacy 1st year..In my view, there is a lot of scope in pharmacy field in present and a lot more in future.
we can expect a lot of changes from our pharma industry in near future..currently there are fields like research and development , pharmacovigilance, clinical trials which are more advancing..

we can get job opportunities in different fields like:
1.teaching profession as an assistant lecturer
2. in clinical trials
3.formulation industry
4.quality control department
5.quality assurance pesonnel
6.pharmacovigilance
7.research and development

i am B-pharmacy 1year student . what is the sallari differance between B-pharmacy and BDS Student

there is NO FUTURE FOR PHARMACY IN INDIA...i am a frustrated pharmacy grad..i am presently pursuing my m.pharm...i qualified in gpat.people treat us like shit outside...all these years of hard work pay nothing.i dont expect 30000 salary.we cant even get 15k after masters...expect a salary of 8 to 10k...all ur life...!
i love pharmacy...not in india...

Any course in Pharmacy is designed seeing Indian Health care system in the forefront. Indian Pharm.D course would have revolutionized the country had there been proper home work done by PCI with IMC & AYUSH equally to evolve an Indian Health care module.

Pharmaceutics is the heart of Pharma industry. Pharmaceutics is a core branch of pharmacy which deals with the formulation design and development for any new drug molecule and the existing ones.
After M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, you can work in the industry in following departments:
- Manufacturing of Solids,liquid orals,Parenterals
-In-Process quality assurance
-Technology transfer
