SET Exam is conducted for appointing lectures in government colleges and other institutions in India. For philosophy the areas which are covered from are Classical Indian Philosophy, Modern Indian Thinkers, Classical Western Philosophy,
Modern Western Philosophy etc in part II. Many books are available for preparation for SET exam. It would be advisable to purchase and study according to the syllabus followed in the book it self.
