The entrance examination for Union Public Service Commission is called Civil Service Examination. After clearing the entrance examination a candidate have to appear for personal interview. The philosophy paper I is History and Problems of Philosophy. The compulsory questions 1 and 5 are given word limitation. The short notes should be written in 200 words. Four options will be given out of which a candidate have to attempt any three. All the short notes carry equal marks. The answers should be written in a precise manner and to-the-point. All together there are 8 questions out of which 5 is to be answered. Total mark of the paper is 300 and every question is of 60 marks.
