i have scored a rank 17000 in aieee in state rank in overall.shall i get chance? i mean do i have any scope to get chance to any colleges?

yes, chances for getting a chance in top colleges. There are so many Engineering colleges in india and many seats are available in these college. These seats are allotted depending upon the ranking and marks in higher secondary exams. so, i wish you to apply and get a seat in top engineering college.

you have scored state rank 17,000 in your AIEEE exam.
as your result is not as much good as required for getting a good college.
but don't worry friend.
there is also a hope of getting a good college.
for this you need to appear in the STATE Counceling of different states.
MANY STATES HAVE VERY GOOD COLLEGES AND THEY FILL THEIR 10-15% OF THEIR TOTAL SEATS THROUGH AIEEE RANK.

Some of the states which has very good collages are-
west begal
maharastra
UP
punjab
orissa
rajasthan
etc.

so friend you should appear in these states counceling.
COUNCELING STARTS JUST AFTER DECLARATION OF THEIR STATES JEE RESULT.
So you need to visit on their respective official sites for counceling schedules and related informaions.
I HOPE YOU WILL GET A GOOD COLLEGE IN THESE COUNCELINGS.

Yes you get private engineering colleges with this rank. But you will not get any govt college.

HI, YOUR most welcome in this forum. You got 17000 in AIEEE. it is so high but

do not worry. You may appear in counselling. if you are in UP then you have a great chance to take admission in UPTU college because in uptu 10% sits are fixed for aiee rankers .So, i suggest you do not miss this chance.

ya ofcourse you may get seat at some NIT

since ur rank is too high so according 2 me u wont be able 2 make it in any of the gud colleges but however u shud try for some low grade private college....

Your rank is not enough to get a good college.

as the rank u have scored is not bad,but if you better try for other engineering college it will be good because the rank you have scored will not give u a good college as well as your subject which you have dream to do.

i know you state rank is 17000 .but you not mention catagory like OBC, GENERAL,SC etc.so
how to comment on your statement .you are eligible for counseling.all the best for counseling.

you will get almost all private colleges under aieee counselling...for nit's north state nit's will be available for more details about seat of your rank please visit this website www.ccb.nic.in and refer your doubts

the chances of getting admission in a gud college is almost nil. but u can still try if by luck u get into a college wid dis rank..

You have a Very Good Rank in AIEEE. which is 17000. Just go for 2nd round of couselling. You will get good Colleges of Preferred branch.

Don't think 17000 is a Bad Rank. because top 10k will be Joining here and there i.e in IIT's and Private Colleges Which left with AIEEE Colleges.

So Just apply the Online couselling and Wait for the Day of couselling.

I think you have a chance to get in NIT colleges.

You should watch the one to fifth round counselling details of 2010.

Obviously, you will get chance. Don't think 17000 is a bad rank. Just go for 2nd round of counselling. You will get good colleges. You can try for your state NIT's because some seats are reserved for state candidates.
So, just apply the online counselling and wait for the day of counselling.

see, your AIEEE rank is not upto very good. so you will not get very good college.

but if you will try then in the second counseling, you will get a college with your state rank 17000 in AIEEE.

sorry friend you have mentioned that your state rank

is 17000, which is pretty low.... you wont have

any chance of getting into any NIT or other good colleges

however if your rank was in 17000, then you will have good chance

of getting some branch in NITs

you should go for AIEEE counselling because there are some good private institutions also who can help a lot.you can try in followng places

dehradun
ghaziabad etc.

i want to tell you that in AIEEE, admission is done on the basis of all india rank not on the basis of state rank. I hope your AIR is above than 3 lakh.Although you can get admission in number of private engineering colleges but these colleges would not be good for your future.

CDS Exams Eligiblity -

For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy- Degree of a recognised University

For Indian Naval Academy - Degree in Engineering.

For Air Force Academy - Degree of Recognized University With Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level Or Bachelor of Engineering.


So, After Completing Your B.com, You Are Eligible To Apply for CDS Exams. So, Please Complete Your Degree First Only Then You Are Eligible.


Age Eligiblity -


For IMA - Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years Are Eligible

For Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years Are Eligible

For Air Force Academy- Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 Year Are Eligible

For Officers Training Academy- Male candidates Married or Unmarried between 19-25 years Are Eligible.

hiii friend....here i can help you........it is some what difficult for you to get because 17000 is your state rank not all india rank.............

you can check in following official site for previous year cutoffs.....

IF your state rank is 17000 surely you wont get into any NIT or GOVERNMENT college.But still you can try for GOOD private colleges through state counselling of private colleges on the AIEEE rank basis.
States such as west bengal, orissa, madhya pradesh, punjab have these type of counselling.

Good Colleges In AIEEE

17,000 is a really good rank considering that almost 10 lakh students sit for the AIEEE exam..

You can get a number of good colleges like NITs (National Institute Of Technology),IIIT Allahabad,PEC (Punjab Engineering College) and many more..

Other than the colleges under AIEEE..you can also apply for deemed universities like :-

Thapar University,Patiala
JIIT,Noida
LNM Institute of Technology,Jaipur
Dhirubhai Ambani College

and many more..

You need to apply for these deemed Universities separately by filling up their respective forms..
