After complete the exam which college we select either VTU college or AUTONOMOUS.........

all coleges are good if you hard worker

See,both have its own advantages and disadvantages..
VTU has got a standard syllabus for its students...whatever topic they include in their syllabus is of the utmost standard which will help you in your long run...also as it is a reknowned university,it provides a plus point during your job selection..however at the same time the syllabus is very tough..you have to put your full effort and hard work to get a good percentage..at the same time clear conception is required..

Now talking about autonomous colleges..;the plus point is they used to revise their syllabus as per the requirement in today's world..in some colleges every year they use to revise their syllabus...it keeps you up to date..however it cannot compete with universities in terms of name and fame...if u go to any part of the country and tell that you are from delhi university or vtu,they will come to know...;but it is not the same case with autonomous colleges..

However ultimately it is your talent only which wins...so you better decide which one to chose...i will give my vote to vtu...

Well, I see no quality in Autonomous schemes. Apparently, I have studied 1-4 semesters in VTU(pretty tough it was) and the latter part 5-8 semester at Autonomous (which was tad bit easy comparitively). And yeah, I would rather suggest for VTU any day if you are in Karnataka, but they have stringent rules and regulations, most of 'em do less to favor the students. Study the rules and regulations on their site vtu.ac.in and then decide.

VTU is the best no matter what college ur in... VTU degree has more value than any autonomous college degree...

i vote for vtu. because vtu has a standard syllabus though it is tough. Job opportunity is better if u r a vtu student.
autonomous is easy compared to vtu syllabus... apart from that, the question paper is set and corrected by the college itself... which is not fair i believe...

Go for an autonomous college!Vtu syllabus has unnecessary outdated crap,whereas autonomous colleges have good syllabus and I would like to correct some people,even if you are in an autonomous college,the degree is still obtained from vtu!

autonomous colleges are better in both rankings and placements

autonomous is best comparitively, in terms of modern lab facilities and updated syllabus, in most autonomus clg minimum passing mark is 40; & internals are conducted thrice for 40 and best of 2 is considered, in autonomous u have better placements
but keep 2 things in mind , join top autonomous within rank 10, and if it is affiliated under vtu, or else only an autonomous certificate has no value.
Or else join vtu

Vtu is more better than autonomus bcoz it as a great value..

AUTONOMOUS IS GOOD BUT IF IT IS REPUTED ONE
