SSLC result have been withheld? What does term "withheld" specifically means here?
My cousin had written his SSLC exam in 1995, his result was withheld. What is the meaning of withheld here? Please explain in detailed manner about the same.

The literal meaning of world "withheld" is to refrain from granting. There may be some reasons due to which the result of your cousin of SSLC has not been published.
You need to contact regional centre of your board to know exact reasons. |

Withheld means your result was not declared because of some issues. The further step for you:
Contact your school or board for details behind "withhelding results". Your school will forward application related to your issues. |

Every year results of some candidates are withheld by board because of discrepancy in candidate's details or any other issues related with candidate. Here, withheld means results are not released.
You can contact your school management or authority for issues because of which your result has not been published. |

According to my knowledge withheld in term of education it is used when in case-
If the result is not finalized. Or, If you are to complete an additional assessment conducted by the faculty. Or, If there is an outstanding grievance or misconduct. Or, Other reasons the faculty may have for withholding the result. |

At here, result withheld means that someone have not completed assessment for the subject. And if the assessment is not completed within 12 months of the result withheld, then the subject will be marked as 'Fail'.

Withheld means not allowing result of any candidate to be released.
There may be some problem in your answer sheets or any other issues associated with you registration details because of which result is withheld. You can contact your school for further details. |
