Steps to become an IAS Officer for Intermediate BIPC student?


Respected Sir/Madam, I am studying in Intermediate with BIPC. I want to become an IAS Officer. I would like to know about the steps through which I can achieve my aim. Kindly tell me asap. Waiting for your response!

IAS refers to Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer, you are required to qualify the Civil Services examination held by UPSC once every year.

--> The basic qualifications required for appearing in the same examination are as below :-

* You must have the nationality of India.

* Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is allowed in case of candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your bachelor degree course in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, being a student of intermediate degree course, you first need to pursue a graduation degree course and then you need to qualify the Civil Services examination.

The full form of IAS is Indian Administrative Services. The different steps for a BIPC student to become IAS officer:

1. First step: You must pursue bachelor's degree in your interested discipline from a recognized university.

2. The minimum age limit is 21 years for this exam.

3. You need to clear all three stages of this exam and secure a rank to join Indian Administrative Services.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services.

To become an IAS Officer, firstly, you crack the civil services examination, which is conducted by UPSC every year.

To appear for this examination, firstly, you need to clear your graduation.

The educational qualification required for the UPSC examination for becoming an IAS Officer:-

1) Candidates must have qualified their bachelor degree in any stream from any recognized university.

2) Final year candidates are also eligible for this examination.

3) Nationality:- Indian.

4) Age:- 21-32 years.

5) Age Relaxation:- 5 years for SC/ST category students.
