Steps to become an NCB Officer for a 10th student?


Hello everyone, I have heard about the NCB Officer. I want to become the NCB Officer and right now I am studying in 10th standard. Can you let me know about the steps through which I can become an NCB Officer?

NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) conducts recruitment exam for filling Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) posts.

To be eligible for this post,
  • You must have completed graduation in any field from a recognized institute/college.
  • Along with this, you must have at least 2 years experience in enforcement of regulatory laws
  • 1 year experience in investigation of criminal and economic offences

Age Limit:
  • Upper age limit is 56 years

Period of deputation:
  • Not exceeding 3 years
  • Extendable upto 7 years based on candidate's performance

Selection of candidate is based on written exam followed by Personal Interview.

Since, you are in 10th standard now, so you must completed your 10th standard followed by 10+2 in any stream. Then, you will have to complete graduation followed by experience related requirements.

In order to become NCB officer, candidates are required to fulfill following criteria:
* Candidates should have a bachelor degree from a recognised university.
* The age limit should be in between 18 and 56 years.
* Candidates must have perfect knowledge of computers.
