CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department. CID exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission)once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete bachelor's degree from a recognised university. No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam. Applicant must be a citizen of India. Age criteria:- The age limits are 20 years to 27 years, Three years relaxation for OBC candidates, Five years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Syllabus:- Principles of criminology, Forensic science and medicine, Correctional management, Rehabilitation of criminals, Police administration. CBI Stands Central Bureau Of Investigation CBI is the main investigation agency of India .
