What are the subjects that an act student who whant to write the NDA exams need what subject will he write

10 + 2 students in any subject can apply for NDA. Those having studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects can join Navy and Air Force also. Others are eligible to join Army only. NDA exam comprise questions on general mental ability and mathematics. Further details on NDA can be collected from UPSC web portal.

Educational Qualification :

Army Wing of NDA :

12th stands pass or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

Air Force & Naval Wing of NDA :

complete 12th stands with Physics & Mathematics subjects from a recognized university

NDA Exam Dates :

Date of Notification : 22 Dec 2012

Last Date of form submission : 21 Jan 2013

Date of NDA exam : 14 Apr 2013

There are two wings for which you can apply through NDA Exams :-
-->>Indian Army.
-->>Indian Airforce/Navy.

Educational qualification required :-

-->>For Indian Army - 10+2 pass out in any stream from recgnized board/university.

-->>For Indian Airforce/Navy - 10+2 pass with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Age :- Your age should be between 16 to 19 years.

Exam Syllabus :-

For General sections
Reasoning.
English Grammar.
General Knowledge.


For Subjective sections

Mathematics.
Physics.
Chemistry.

NDA-National Eligibility Test.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year.


NDA has three wings:-

Indian navy,

Indian Army,

Indian Airforce.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board or university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

You must be a citizen of india.

You must be physically fit.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible.

For navy and airforce you must be complete 12th standard with Physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects but no need for Army.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation.

Medical test.
