i couldn't write the nda entrance exam conducted on 21 august,.so,is there anyway that i could write it later without wasting an year?i'm a 12th std student.i think another exam is conducted on april or may.

Yes, You are Right ! The NDA Examination was Again Started in 2012.

NDA Stands for National Academy Academy and this examination was conducted by UPSC Every year, For this year examination was already completed and If you are Interested in This examination, then please apply for this examination next year i.e on April 2012.

>> To apply for NDA Examination, you need to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised Board and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

>> Candidates may apply for any one of the wings, Army Wings, Air force wings and Naval wings. For army wings you need to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised board.

For Naval Wings and Air force Wings - You need to complete your 12Th from Physics and Maths as a compulsory subjects.

>> The Notification of this examination was Published in 31/Dec/2011 and The last date of apply for this examination was 30/Jan/2012.

The Written examination was going to be held on 15/April/2012.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice i.e is NDA-I and NDA-II.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-1/NDA-11 exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age limit:
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

NDA-I notification for this year:
Notification release on 31st Dec 2011 and close the issue of application form on 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will conducted 15th April 2012.
If you miss this exam,then you can apply for NDA-II exam.

NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Notification release on 5th May 2012 and close the issue application form on 4th June 2012.
And exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

Last date for the receipt of application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of Commencement of Exam : 15-04-2012
Duration of Exam : 1 day

The required age for NDA Exam is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

If your age does not cross 19 years, I can say that you are surely eligible to write the exam on 15-04-2011.

N.D.A Stands for National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

This for this year you are very late, but don't worry next year you can apply for it, The Exam conducted on April, that mean on April 2012. Anyway you have to fulfill the criterion also that is
1)You must be pass 12th
2)You must age between 16 1/2-19 years
