I am a diploma student of electrical and electronics engineering, now tell me that what group i have to choose to write the TNPSC exam?

It all depends on the interest of the candidate.

See, there are only 3 engineering subjects in any of the State PSC and even in the UPSC viz. Mechanical, Civil, Electrical.

But it is also true that clearing the examination with the engineering subjects is too tough, until and unless you have a great command over the subjects as the level of questions is considerably high than what you get in the Engineering semester exams.

So, you should go for your interest. There are many subjects to choose from other fields as well. You have to make a decision based on the interest, not based on what you have studied in the graduation.
