please tell me the syllabus for IBPS PO xam which is going to be conducted on march ?

The notifications regarding the IBPS PO exam has already being published in the official website. The syllabus of the exam will include questions from mainly 5 sections. These sections are Quantitative Ability, Logical reasoning, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, Language and Comprehension. There will be negative marking for the wrong answers. Also there will be a descriptive paper which may generally include essay writing, Precise writing, letter writing etc.

Reasoning Questions :
[analogy, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, decision making, Problem on Age Calculation, Arithmetical Reasoning]

Quantitative Aptitude Questions :
[number system, decimal fractions, simple and compound interest, percentage, average, ratio and proportions, simplifications, time and distance]

English Language Questions :
[Vocabulary, grammar, synonyms and antonyms, comprehension, sentence formation, error connection]

General Awareness Questions :
[latest happenings, International and National Organizations, important dates, sports, economics news, books and authors, awards and honors]

Computer Knowledge :
[Basic computer query]

About IBPS :

IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and it is Conducts the Common Written Examination every year for the Post of Clerical Cadre and Probationary officer every year. Common Written Examination will be held for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees posts twice a year.

To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University (For Probationary officer Post).

The examination is Objective as well as Descriptive, Descriptive Papers only for those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests.

The objective paper shall consist of 250 questions of 225 Marks, the duration of Objective paper is 150 Minutes.

The descriptive paper is basically the test of English Language or Verbal Comprehension.
