What are the central government jobs available for B.Tech ECE students? I am studying ECE and I want to do central government jobs. Kindly tell me its availability.

The aspirant can work in Central Government organisations like SAIL, BSNL, RRB, UPSC, ISRO, DRDO, ECIL,
NTPC, BHEL, BEL, MTNL, BARC, Indian Railways, HPCL, Banking Sector, AAI, National Aluminium Company,
BPCL, ONGC, Coal India, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, PSSSB, ESIC etc.

The aspirant has to apply online or offline as per the requirement.

The aspirant can get the details in the website or in the newspapers.

ECE students are eligible to apply in many PSU comapnies and IES exam.

For PSU, you have to get atleast 60% in B.Tech and then apply for GATE exam.
In selection process, GATE marks are given 70-80% weightage and rest for interview which is conducted by PSU itself.
GATE application starts in september and exam is conducted in Feb/March. It is an objective type exam conducted by IITs.

For IES, there is no minimum marks criteria. IES is conducted by UPSC.
In IES, you have written exam and interview. It is both subjective and objective type exam.
IES application form comes in February and exam is conducted in May.
