The syllabus for RAS Exam is different for different subjects. Rajasthan Public Service Commission carries out the exam. The syllabus in different subjects can be downloaded from the official website of Rajasthan Public Service Commission. The exam is carried out in areas of Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce, etc. The candidate should prepare for the exam based on the mentioned syllabus. They should prepare well in order to get through the exams.

Hey,

R.A.S examination is carried out by RPSC every year.The RAS examination consists of two stages, preliminary and main examination. The candidates qualified in the preliminary exams will be automatically enrolled for the main examination.

Structure and Pattern of R.A.S Main Examination

RAS main examination consists of many sections. There will be compulsory papers and optional papers. The compulsory papers generally includes four topics such as General knowledge, general science in the morning session. General knowledge of Rajasthan, Rajasthani Society, Art & Culture is held in the afternoon session. Another set of compulsory papers are General Hindi and General English.

The optional papers may include questions from various subjects as prescribed by the board. This part includes 12 papers from which candidates can choose the subject for each paper as given. Candidates have to qualify all the compulsory and optional papers separately. Three hour duration is allotted for each session.

Those clearing all these examinations will be called for the final interview. The selection of candidates for various posts will be based on this.
