Is there any chance to get any NIT college?


my assumed marks in j.e.e mains(2013) paper 2 is 170..i m belonging to s.c category....is there any chance to get any nits college? please reply

Yes, you are eligible to get the admission in the NIT if your score is 170. But as it is well known that there is nothing to do with the assumed score.

Since you also belong to the SC category there is more chance of getting the admission in the best NIT in the stream you want to pursue.

Other than this as your score is greater than the cut off so you are eligible to appear for the Advance examination and after qualifying in the examination become eligible for the admission in the IIT.

The Mains rank are prepared on the basis of the score in the JEE Mains 60% and 40% weight age to the board score.

So I need to suggest you that wait for the result and after that for the counselling.
