Metallurgical and materials engineers have any job opportunities as a income tax officer?

Yes, you are eligible to get the job of the income tax officer after pursuing the metallurgical and material engineer. To become an income tax officer you need to qualify in the SSC CGL examination.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed the graduation from the recognized university.
* Candidate age must be between 20-27 years and +3 for the OBC and +5 for the SC/ST candidate.

The examination is conducted in two tier as Tier I and the Tier II. So you need to qualify in both the tier for the final selection.

The examination paper contains the question of Aptitude, Reasoning, General knowledge, English and Mathematics.

The application for the 2015 is closed and so you have to wait for the next year to appear in the examination.
