IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank exam every year for PO for 19 public sector of bank.

Educational Qualification for IBPS PO Exam:-

Only graduate candidate from recognized university are applicable for this exam.Not require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Age criteria:-

Your age should be between 21 to 30 years old.

Age relaxation for reserved candidate is given below-

SC/ST Category - 5 years age relaxation
OBC Category - 3 years age relaxation
PWD Category - 10 years relaxation

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts P.O. Exam for 20 Public Sector Banks from time to time.

There is no restriction on numbers of attempts to IBPS P.O. Exam which means an eligible candidate can apply and appear for the same as far as he or she fulfill all eligibility criteria.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good knowledge over computer operation.

No,There are not any restrictions on number of attempts in IBPS PO entrance exam.You can appear as many times as you are interested but there is a age restriction to appear for the IBPS PO entrance exam.

i have filled the form of ibps PO (oct 2013) this time,, but i feel that i have not prepared enough for it... so if i skip (not give) this exam,, will it be counted my attempt????

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Every year IBPS is conducting common written exams separately for the recruitment of following positions
Clerks
Probationary Officers
Specialist Officers etc.

The selection procedure for all these positions will be by
Written Exam
Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General Awareness
General English
Computer Knowledge

As per eligibility for IBPS PO Exam,

The candidate should score a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation with any of the stream.

Relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category.

You don't need to worry about the number of attempts for this Exam.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for this Exam.

You can take this exam till you attain an age of 28 years.

There is no maximum attempt for ibps PO
But incase of sbi po maximum number of attempts for general category is 4.

Also, If a candidate has filled the form but not appeared, will it be counted as a attempt? How an attempt in IBPS is counted, by giving prelims or mains?
