There are entrance exams conducted at senior secondary level like Indian Air Force exam for X and Y group. Basically, these are technical and non technical entrance exams. You can apply for these exams to get into Air Force.

At bachelor's degree level, you can apply for Combined Defence Services and Air Force Common Admission Test to get into Indian Air Force.

As far as you are concerned about the other options except NDA available for joining Indian Air force then it is as below :-

For entry as a commissioned officer, you have the options through CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) and AFCAT ( Air force Common Admission Test ). For both of these entrance examinations the minimum education required is a graduation in any discipline along with Mathematics and Physics at Class 12th from a recognized university.

For entry as an airmen, you need to qualify its recruitment test which includes written test followed by physical fitness test. For this entry, the minimum education required is a higher secondary school degree in any discipline from a recognized board. But, for joining airman X group you are required to have studied Mathematics and Physics at your Class 12th level.

For more details and updates regarding above options, you can refer to the link www.careerairforce.nic.in.
