No, it does not matter. The examination is conducted in three stages.

The required eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, you can appear for the examination and after qualifying in all the three stages eligible for the final selection. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

1. No, there is no such problem in selection of UPSC CSE IAS exam due to performance in class 11th and class 12th.

2. You should have completed a graduation with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university to be eligible.

3. You should be minimum 21 years old.

No, not at all performance or marks of academec degree courses does not matter in final selection of Civil Services examination held by UPSC.

The selection of a candidate in Civil Services examination is completely dependent of candidates performance in different stages of the same examination i.e; Preliminary Test (which is qualifying in nature), Main (1750 marks) and the Interview (275 marks).

So, you can prepare for the Civil Services examination irrespective of your percentage in Class 12th or anyother academic degree as there has been instances of candidates qualifying this examination after having backlogs in their previous academic degrees.

If you will clear all the three stages of the examination then there will be no any problem in the selection.

The selection is offered only after qualifying in all the three stages of examination. There is no bar to appear and qualify in the examination even if you have cleared std 12th in two stages.
