Is there any rules in NDA stating only 12th passed in 1st attempt are eligible?

Is there any rules or norms which says only first attempt class 12th candidates are eligible to apply for NDA, 2019 exam session? Or, candidates passing 12th in 2nd or 3rd attempt are also eligible to apply for NDA exams?

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and to join the same you are required toqualify NDA entrance examination held twice in a year by UPSC.

Further, the minimum education required for appearing in the NDA entrance examination is a Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board. Students going to appear in their Class 12th board examination are also eligible.

Now, as far as you are concerned about whether only those students are eligible for appearing in NDA entrance examination who manages to qualify their Class 12th in their first attempt then there is no norms/rules and therefore any Class 12th passed candidate satisfying other eligibility criteria are eligible for appearing in the NDA entrance examination.

For more details and FAQs regarding NDA entrance examination eligibility, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
