Sorry to say that you are not applicable for NDA exam.Because at the age of 19 years old , you are not applicable for NDA exam.

But if you really interested in defence sector , then you can definitely get admission through CDS , UES , AFCAT exam.But you must have B-TECH degree.Final year student are also applicable for those courses.

NDA(national deffence academy) in conducted by the UPSC(union public service commission)twice in a year i.e, NDA I &NDA II. in every year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• You must have citizenship of India
• You must be completed 12th standard from recognized state board of India
• Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19years
• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible

PATTERN FOR NDA EXAM:

If You can prepare well to your study books then you can definitely get admission in NDA.You can prepare now GK portion and Mathematics portion.



The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

Yes you are eligibile to give the exam because the eligibility criteria to apply for NDA are:-

>the candidate should be a citizen of India
>the candidate should have passed clas XII or equivalent passed certificate conducted by state board or universities. Candidates applying for the above exam can also apply
> age limit: 16.5-19 yrs

Exam pattern:-
mathematics-2.5hrs (300 marks)
general ability-2.5hrs (600 marks)
total-900 marks

Syllabus:-
paper I- mathematics-arithmetic,mensuration, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics

paper II-
Part A- english(200 marks)
PartB-General Knowlegde(400 marks)

Eligibility criteria---NDA


candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university.

candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

the age required to appear for this between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates.

candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.

only unmarried male candidates can apply.

physical fitness is required.

HENCE,

sorry to sat that you are not Eligible being a candidate of 19 years but since NDA exam is not applicable for girls.but you can still join the defense services by some different modes----

----Combined defence services exam
----university entry scheme
----short service commission (women)
----AFCAT

but that requires graduation in engineering.
