IS there any specilised course to get into CBI... CID after passing the XII examination..... or do we need any degree to get into it

i think there is no special course for cbi or cid, you have to graduate or poost graduate to get into these fields. degree holders also apply for enter into this field.

no course ypu just have yo pass the exam coducted bu upsc

There is no such courses to get directly into these sector.
The selection exam is conducted by the UPSC and state govt.

But there are some courses is forensic science and criminology
that act as a service provider to the CID, CBI and other
detecticve sector of government.


Forensic science is the application of a broad spectrum
of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system.

Criminology is the scientific study of the nature, extent, causes,
and control of criminal behavior in both the individual and in society.

These courses have very wide scope in detective works.

To take up a masters course in forensic science you need to be a graduate preferably with a first division in Physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, B.pharm, BDS or applied science.
Biotechnology is not mentioned in the eligibility criteria of any institution in such courses but there could be a scope for biotech students as well.

Duration: 2 years.
Eligibility: Graduates in Science (preferably physics, chemistry, biology, zoology, bio-chemistry or applied sciences).

you cannot take admission to the cbi ........for it you have to complete the graduatuon fist and then crack the exam of ssc ...........that is conducted by the upsc.......

can i apply for cbi exam as i recently completed my 12th studies and iam intrested in joining cbi but dont have full information abut the exam and the application forms
and i have done my 12th with bio,physics,chem & computers, but dont have maths so is maths nessesery for joining cbi

the selection of both this is done through the ssc exam,for which the minimum qualification is graduation.

there is no specific course to go into cbi or cid. You can go into these by passing upsc examination and you can do this even after doing diploma or degree

Qualifications requirement to sit for CBI or CID exam is given below

1.minimum qualification graduation in any subject, with 55% marks in graduation.

and 60% marks for engineering holders.

age limit is 21-29 year.

there no specific courses for CBI and CID.

a 10+2 passed student also not eligible for CBI and CID examination. you must be graduate to appear in CBI or CID examination.

there are various types of examination for joining in CID and CBI.
there is an examination conducted by UPSC and also one examination conducted by SSC. you may appear in these examination after completion of your graduation. so now prepare for your graduation. later try for CBI and CID.

There is no such process to directly get admission in CBI or CID after passing12th . Well you can build your carrer by taking admission in forensic science courses like BSc. Or MSc. in forensic science, you can also go with diploma courses in forensic science

You just need to be a graduate to apply for CBI or CID.These exams will be conducted by the UPSC board and SSC board.If your selected in the exams then you need to persue the course of criminology/forensic science and medicine/police administration/correction management..etc under the government.

If your interested then you can even go through M.sc in forensic science or criminolgy separately before applying for this post.

sir Ihave just appeared for the exams of 12th board and came to know that their are some colleges thatserves us as the person that deserves the career in the Forensics sciences. sir pleasegive me the related information.

there are no special courses for CBI and CID after doing your 12th...
after graduation you should write the exams conducted by UPSC to get into these fields of service... there are other courses for the supporting works of cbi and cid to learn but these all are valid or considered after your graduation itself.

Minimum Qualification required is Graduation in any Discipline.

To join CBI or CID ,you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

i m a BDS doctor and wants to join CID what tests do i have to give for that?

To join CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) officer you have to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Committee)

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
* The age limit must be within 20 to 27 for general category.
* The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
* The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates.

Syllabus

Criminal law, Medicine, Police Administration.

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts
