I want to study Aircraft Maintenance but, do I have to write any entrance exam for it? Is there a college in Calicut (or in Kerala) to study Aircraft Maintenance? I would also like to know more about Aviation courses like what all other courses are available?

To be a Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you need to do a Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) degree course.

>> The course is done after you complete your 10+2 in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and qualify the entrance test for the course.

>> Age limit : 16 years to 24 Years.

>> Before admission to the course the candidate need to qualify the Medical Fitneed Test taken by the institute.

>> During the course you will have to study theory for 5 semester and 6 months will be for On Job Training.

>> During the course you will be taught different subjects like Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Signal and system etc.
