Re: Is there negative marking in IBPS Exam?
Yes. There is negative marking in IBPS Exam. Not only for IBPS Exam, but for almost all bank exams there is negative marking for wrong answers.
In most cases the negative marking will be of 0..25 or 25% in the sense for every 4 wrong answers which a candidate has committed in the bank exam, 1 mark from the actual marks scored by candidate will be deducted. The selection procedure for bank clerk and PO jobs is by -Written test -Interview The written test is of descriptive type and of objective type. One need to secure more than cut off marks in each of the categories of the written test to get through the written test. Very soon IBPS Clerk Exam is going to be conducted. If you have applied for this exam, have good preparation to the exam and crack the exam. The competition for IBPS Clerk Exam is very high. Nearly 40 lakhs candidates have applied for this exam. So, try to secure high marks in the written exam. For more information on IBPS Exam, you can visit the official website of IBPS. Here it is, http://www.ibps.in/ |

Re: Is there negative marking in IBPS Exam?
IBPS Examination Yes, my dear friend There is negative marking in IBPS Exam. Penalty For Wrong Answers There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question. All The Best!! |

Re: Is there negative marking in IBPS Exam?
Yes there is also the negative marking for the all IBPS exams. The IBPS is conducting the clerk, PO, officers exams every year. If any candidate gives wrong answer then he/she will be punished for ¼ marks of the total one question mark. So while giving the answer it should be necessary to give the correct answer other you have to face the negative marking.
