no sports quota is for btech.only sc,ct,obc,ph quota is for engineering.

there is no sports quota in any engineering exam.
some seats are reserved only for sc/st and obc students only.
so you will have to appear for the exam like any other general category student.

see, in every where there must be a sports quota.

so definitely Engineering Entrance Exams is also not out of that.

but sports quota must be in nation or international level.

If the students are national champions then they will be having sports quota and it mainly depends on the university.

Hi.. Most of the engineering college do not go for sports quota but if you are state level player or national level player then you can have a scope to join in engineering college. However some colleges may not consider you. Still you have a lot of choices. All the best.

there is no sports quota in engineering entrance exams.

- admission is only though your rank which you have got in entrance exam.

-there is reservation for st/sc/obc candidates.

sports quota is not available for engg. entrance exam .but you can get that profit after admission.in engg. only for reservation SC,ST,OBC,PH,NRI AND this type of quota is availablle.

Obviously there will be sport quota for engineering entrance exam.

AFTER THE RELEASING RANK ,THEIR WILL BE STARTING COUNSEL FOR ADMISSION FOR THE COLLEGE.

IN COUNSELING PROCESS,THEY WILL BE CALLING TOP RANKS IN THE FIRSTDAY OF COUNSEL,THEN AFTER LOWER CATEGORY CASTE CANDIDATE, AS THEY HAVE RESERVATION.

IN THE SAME MANNER THEY WILL BE CALLING FOR SPORT QUOTA AND NCC QUOTA CANDIDATE ON THE THIRD DAY.THEN AFTER ALL THE QUOTA,THEY WILL BE ALLOWING GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES FOR COUNSEL.


SURELY YOU WILL BE GETING ADMISSION IN GOOD COLLEGE.

As far as i know i have not heard of any sports quota in engineering

i am sure there is no sports quota in iit or aieee, for sure,

there are obc sc/st... and disabled quotas though,

totalling 49%.... obc 27% st 7.5% sc15%
and 1% disabled quota,

In engineering there will be no quota for sports person ,in b.tch only SC,HT,AND OBC student will get quota ,but quota in railways exam are very help full for you.

no there is no sports quota for engineering entrance examination like in IIT JEE, AIEEE or other state level examination.


there is reservation only for SC/ST/PH candidate. no reservation for the candidate those have sports certificate.


but if you take admission in engineering as general category candidate and after completion of your engineering if you want to join in Indian Defense sector then you will get advantages of your sports certificate. there also no reservation for sports category candidate but till you will get preference at the time of selection. even if you go for other branch of study and after that want to join in defense sector then also you will get preference at the time of selection because of your sports certificate.

For B.E there is sports quota in entrance exam and i think B.Tech also Having sports quota in entrance exam.In TamilNadu Counseling is there for B.E and B.Tech in that sports quota is there.

for medical entrance is there sports quota in eamcet 2011?

there is sports quota for btech as well as for medicine also!
u hav to post the certificates to the entrance examiner nd one copy to sports council for claiming it! and there wil be counseling for ths! it will be mentioned in prospectus of entrance!
