Many questions but same inclination.
Total medical seats --MBBS and then Dental and then homeopathy.......ayurvedam etc etc .total comes to around 5000.but where is your ranking depends upon the seat actually alotted.Many engineering students -drop the mrdical seat as they cannot sit with the books and study for long time.
To be a good doctor ....you have to work hard.to be a good engineer -you can learn many stuff later also at ease.

sorry to say that u may not get a seat under govt quota. but sure u can get a management seat.

since you belong to st category it would be highly possible for getting a seat in a good college
