Common Premedical Entrance Examination 2011
Common Premedical Entrance Examination (CPMEE) is one of the reputed Entrance tests conducted by the Indian Government for providing admission to the deserving candidates into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS. Uttaranchal Council of Entrance Examination, in association formed by the privately unaided Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic colleges of Uttarakhand would be conducting the Common Pre Examination Incoming Testing.
There are eight school and colleges in the examination genera that are connected to the Entering test. Nevertheless out of the eight medical colleges, only one institute worship MBBS course, other institutes cater BDS (Dental), cardinal render BAMS (Ayurvedic) and one engage BHMS (Homeopathic).There are around 100 number of seats as per reserved for MBBS and then there are 50 seats devoted to else performance in other institutes that are related to the entranceway test conducted by Uttaranchal Council of Entering test.
The test peculiarly aims at providing entering resource to those institutes that are unaided and thereby enhancing quality education in the nation.
Institutes which provide admission on the basis of CPMEE:
• SGRR Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun (MBBS) 100 seats
• Seema Dental College and Hospital , Rishikesh (BDS) 100 seats
• Sri Narayan Swami Hospital and Dental College, Dehradun (MBBS, BDS) 100seats, 50 seats resp.
• Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute, Dehradun (BDS) 50 seats
• Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College, Dehradun (BAMS) 50 seats
• Himalayiya Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital Rishikesh (BAMS) 50 seats
• Chandola Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Rudrapur (BHMS) 50 seats
Eligibility criteria:
• Candidate must be more than 17 years of age to be eligible for this course, that is he or she should have born on or before 31st December, 1994.
• Candidate must have cleared 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50 % aggregate from the recognized board to be eligible for this course.
• Candidate currently pursuing in 12th class are also eligible for this course.
For candidates that belong to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe have to secure only 40% in aggregate form in their Higher Secondary Examination. Thus there are relaxations of seats in term of reservation in this format of entrance exam also.
The candidates should be both mentally as well as physically fit and should posses any criminal records.
