Examination is being conducted in the following subjects:

Physics

Chemistry

Mathematics

*Aptitude Test (Part – I and Part – II)

** Kannada Language Test

*Aptitude test is conducted for only for those candidates who wants to take admission into Architecture degree programs.

** The Kannada language test is conducted in the CET Bangalore premises. This test is conducted for only those candidates, who claim government seats and whose mother tongue is Kannada.

Question Paper
Each question paper will be of 70 minutes duration and will be of objective type. The question paper in each subject will be in 16 different versions and each version will contain 60 questions and each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark.

The candidate is expected to attempt all the 60 questions. In other words, there is no choice among questions. There is no negative evaluation with regard to Wrong answers and marks will not be awarded in respect of multiple answers In both common entrance test and aptitude test.

Syllabus

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test (CET) Karnataka will be based on the First and Second year PUC revised syllabus prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

The Karnataka CET is meant for those who wish to pursue professional courses like engineering and architecture. The Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore conducts the examination every year. The pattern of the exam is given below:
For those who want admission to engineering courses have to sit for mathematics, physics, and chemistry papers. All these papers carry 60 marks and the duration of each of the test is 80 minutes. Apart from these the candidates claiming eligibility for the government colleges and whose mother tongue is Kannada, have to sit for a Kannada language test. This is also of duration of 80 minutes.

The question paper of Physics, as mentioned above, carries 60 marks. The questions are all multiple choice types. The question paper is in sixteen versions. The questions carry 4 alternatives of which only one is correct. Each question is of 1 mark. There are no choices in the question paper. So attempt all the questions, so that you can obtain good marks. There is no provision of negative marking, but multiple answers are treated as wrong answers.

The question paper of the test is based on First and Second PUC syllabi. It is prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education.

dude if u have done all 10 years in kannada medium u dont need to write the kannada test
