Hello Simran,
The company secretary course is a professional course and therefore, it must not be done along with another professional course. So, I would suggest you to enroll for a simple BCom program along with company secretary course. Since, CS is a professional course, you actually don't need to follow it by any post graduate course because being a company secretary is enough to have a great career. However, there are many candidates who follow it by a course in LAW, and if you too want to do it, do it only after completion of you bachelors degree program. After graduation, then duration of LLB is 3 years. If somewhere in your mind, you are thinking about pursuing MBA along with Company secretary course, than I would suggest you to pursue BBA instead of BCom as it will provide you an strong base for MBA. |

LLB is not necessary but COMPANY SECRETARY becomes unbeatable if he/she will blend his knowledge with LAW.
OTHERWISE Only after doing COMPANY SECRETARY candidate is earning very good amount. Experience in the field is also something which is not ignoreble. Higher the Experience Higher the salary candidate expect in the field. Average Company Secretary candidate can expect 3/4 lakhs per annun as starting salary. and Company Secretary with Law course can expect higher than this salary. |

I want to do CS course. I am a B.Sc under graduate. i.e I had single back in my 6th sem exam(2010 June) due to some health problem & later due to some family problem I pushed to professional field as I am working now in an IT company as Pre Sales Consultant cum Admin assistant form 2010 October to till date. Last year I couldn't able to apply or sit for that back exam & so i am writing that exam on this year i.e 2012 June. And I am confident that I ll clear this exam on this attempt. So, what I want to convey in this is, I am planning to get CS so i want to go for Executive step as I am not an Arts back ground. But my question is "can I go for Executive step or should I go through Foundation step because I am not complete graduate yet? & as executive step for 2012 last admission date is on August & my back exam is on June so Can I apply for Executive Exam now or how it is?!". Anyone please guide me on this confusion. I hope for your valuable reply.
Thank you.. $owmya Rao |
