Universities or colleges to prefer for doing MS in Chemical Engineering? Job opportunities in the course?


I m sudip from kolkata. I have compleated my BTech with 64% in chemical engg. I want 2 study MS in abroad for the same stream, so which colleges or universities are prefferable for doing MS in chemical engg? And whats about the job opportunities?

Over the years with the great expansion of scientific knowledge, the basis of applying science particularly chemistry to develop technology has increased tremendously.

Job prospect in Chemistry:
There are so many job prospectus and career options of Chemistry like :-

1) Industries with manufacturing job like Haldia Chemicals,ONGC

2) In the field of Biotechnology,power production.

3) You can specialize in a particular chemical processes such as oxidation or polymerization or in a specific product such as plastic or rubber.

4) Other work areas of chemical include food processing, coal preparation and mineral processing, explosives manufacturing.

So,it has a very good and bright future in Chemistry.
