Which university is better for pursuing Honors in English Literature - 1. University of Delhi or 2. University of Calcutta? (according to cost, probability of getting scholarships and quality education)?

B.A.(Hons.) English is considered to be one of the most coveted courses in DU. Getting a bachelors in English literature would give you ample opportunities to being a content writer. You just need to choose your field of interest where you want to try your skills as a content writer.

One can also try her/his hand in journalism, language translator from regional Indian languages to English, blogger, writer.

I would suggest you go for a Masters degree in English literature after your bachelors. One can also go for B.ed if you have the acumen to be a teacher.

Once you start pursuing the course, you will start finding out different and diverse career opportunities related to the course.


ON THE OTHER HAND,

University of Calcutta or presidency college but hard to get marks in this Universities but their certificates have great value. The University of Calcutta is third best University in India so no doubt in that their certificates are more beneficial.
