UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. This exam conducted by central government of India every year according to the vacancy of seats. There are three steps in the selection procedure -

*Preliminary exam
*Main Exam
*Interview

The preliminary exam will constitute of general knowlegde , Logical and reasoning questions and language question section.

PRILIMINARY PAPER:
The priliminary exam is the qualifying examination for upsc.It is the first stage of upsc exam.It is conducted in August and the result is published on mid-october.
The priliminary exam consists of 2 objective type papers on General Studies and Aptitude Test.

IAS stands for Indian administrative services and to join this a candidate must be a graduate in any field and be the Indian citizen.
