I heard that VELTECH University is neither recognized by AICTE nor UGC. Is it true? Does all degrees offered by this university are fake and invalid? What is the status of this university?

Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known asVeltech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University) is a deemed university which holds the academic affiliations of UGC and MHRD.

Since, the university is affiliated to UGC, the degree courses offered by the same is valid even if it is not approved by AICTE as affiliation to any of the two i.e;UGC or AICTE is good enough for ensuring the validity of a degree course.
