I want to do distance education in B.E/B-Tech in civil from vinayaka university please guide me whether it is approved or not from UGC or AICTE?

Vinayaka mission university is a good institution but it is a deemed university and it is not approved by AICTE.

So you can try in other college like anna university coimbatore or sona college,SRM etc.

Better go for these.

the vinayaka university is recognized by UGC but affiliated to AICTE...i think you better try out other good university like ANNA for not facing any problem in future...

At first Government of India conferred Symbiosis the “ Deemed University” status.....
and further in 2006 the University Grants Commission(UGC), Government of India vide its notification, withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University......

Vinayaka University is approved by UGC . There is no difference if the institute is approved by AICTE or UGC. But any of the technical institute has to be approved either by UGC or by AICTE.

As the Vinayaka University is approved by UGC so there is not any problem in taking admission in Vinayaka University .

The UGC or AICTE approval is necessary for any technical institute because these are responsible for coordination, determination and maintenance of institution.

If the institute is not AICTE or UGC approved then such institute is not a recognized institute of India. As the Vinayaka University is approved by the UGC so it is a recognized institute and you can take admission there.

many students who have passed from VMU that is not eligible for GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT and for HIGHER STUDIES and PROMOTIONS in CHHATTISGARH and MADHYA PRADESH. so please sir DO SOMETHING.

this university is the worst univesity in the world. my degree is being murdered here . we dont have cadd lab. no survey but you get your degree in civil

Pls dont do B.Tech distence mode in VMU it is not approved by AICTE and not eligible for any govt jobs or promotions.. even private sector is not also considering these degree
