Well actually I am in 12th now. So tell me that can I appear in the aipmt exam of 2016 or not? I am worried about the Age limit.

AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIPMT 2016 exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years. No age relaxation provide for reserved category.

Lets go through the eligibility criteria of AIPMT and then we'll conclude that whether you are eligible to give the exam or not.

So, the eligibility criteria is-

1) You should have attained minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age before 31st December of the year in which you are planning to appear for the exam.

2) The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of examination.

Also one more important thing to notice. the number of attempts for the AIPMT exam is 3.

So, check your eligibility according to the points given above. If you fulfill these, you very well can appear in the exam.

The Eligibility to appear in the AIPMT 2016:

1.A candidate must have done 12 with chemistr, biology, physics and English as compulsory subjects.

2.,Minimum percentage required is 50%

3. Age limit 17-25 and relaxation of 5 years to SC, ST and OBC students.

You can go for the AIPMT entrance exam if you have crossed your age above 17 years.

AIPMT is All India Premedical Test.This entrance exam is conducted by the CBSE for the admission in various medical college.

The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a +2 course from a recognised board with good percentile. Also the appearing aspirant must belong from the PCB background.
