what is the age limit for appearing kas....pleaes tell me what is the age limit

Hai,

KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.

KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission) conducting this exam every year once.


Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

Final year persuing candidates can also eligible.

Percentage is not important to appear this exam.

You should be a citizen of INDIA.


Age criteria details:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30years,

For OBC candidates 21 years to 33 years,

For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years.


Selection procedure:-

Preliminary Examination,

Mains Examination,

Personal Interview.

Educational qualification :-
-->>You should be Graduation passed out in any stream from recognized university.

Age :-
-->>Minimum age - 21 years.
-->>Maximum age - 28 years.

Age Relaxations :- Only Reserved category candidates are Eligible to get the age relaxation facility as per government norms.It is as :-

-->>For SC/ST Category - 5 years.
-->>For OBC Category - 3 years.
-->>For Physically Challenged - 5 years.

Syllabus :-

PAPER I
-->>General Studies Related National and International Importance.
-->>Humanities.

PAPER II
-->>General Studies Related to state Importance.

K.A.S. is acronym for Karnataka Administrative Service.

ersons who are selected in these service do administration of state. It is equivalent to IAS of central (Union) government of India. Candidates are selected by written examination followed by group discussion and personal interview. The candidates selected are generally known as Gazetted officers. These officers hold important posts in administration of Karnataka state. They can be said as law making and implementing persons. Normally posts held by these officers wield tremendous power.

Age criteria:-

For SC/ST category candidates--> 21 to 35years.
