KAS- stands for Karnataka Administrative Services. It brings youths in administration work so as to make the working body of government efficient.
For applying KAS exam you should be graduate from a recognized university. You should score first class marks in graduation.
Age limit : 21-30 years. Relaxation for SC/ST and OBC catagories.
preliminary test will be around January 2013.
And main exam will be conducted around in the month of May.

The Acronym "KAS" stands for Karnataka Administrative Services.

The Karnataka Public Service Commission conducts the KAS Exam every year.

The KAS Exam resembles with the UPSC Civil services Examination in terms of the eligibility criteria.

The Eligibility Criteria For KAS Examination are :

a) You must have completed graduation in any stream from any UGC recognized university.

b) Candidates who are in final year of graduation are also eligible for the KAS Exam.

c) Age Limit :

Minimum Age : 21 years

Maximum Age : 30 years

d) Age Relaxation :

Upper age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

e) Nationality : Indian
