B.a graduate how many years age limit to joining the indian army?

after completing your graduation you can apply for CDS exam for indian army. for that you should be passed from recognized collage. the age limit is 19 to 25 years. you should be unmarried. no physical or mental disabilities. height required for men is 157cm and for women is 152cm. and your weight should be according to your weigt. eye vision should be 6/6. nationality should be of india.

To join Indian Army one has to crack CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer,s Training Academy.

The age limit to join Indian Military Academy is 19 to 24 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

Apart from this the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear fro the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University with good Physical and mental health.

So as an Arts Graduate you are only eligible to apply for Indian Army(IMA) and OTA of CDS.

There are many posts in Indian army. You can apply for the post of soldiers or JCOs according to your qualification.

You have not mentioned your subject of graduation but for BA graduates there are following posts:

1. Surveyor Auto Carto(Engineers), if you are BA graduate with maths.
2. Junior Commissioned Officer or
3. Religious Teacher.
4. Havildar Education if you will do BEd after your BA.

Age limit for :

1. Surveyor Auto Carto:20-25 years.
2. Junior Commissioned Officer and religious teacher:27-34 years.
3. Havildar Education:20-25 years.

You have completed BA degree so you are applicable for Indian Army through CDS Exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services .CDS entrance exam is conducted twice in an year by the UPSC . After clearing the CDS exam the candidates are selected for the different wings of the Indian Defense.

1. UPSC CDS - Combined Defense Service

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years and age is not relaxable

UPSC also conduct NDA - National Defense Academy exam but you have crossed your age limit which is - 19 years maximum for this exam so that you can not apply for this exam

The best way to get into the Indian Army would be by clearing the CDS(Combined Defence Services)
